THE ACADEMY RETURNS TO 2016 NAB SHOW® WITH ACES

WHAT:
The Academy returns to 2016 NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show to present a panel discussion “The Academy Color Encoding System (ACES): Adoption Report,” part of the “Future of Cinema Conference.”
The Academy Color Encoding System (ACES), a global standard for digital motion picture image interchange, color management and long-term archiving, was launched at last year's NAB with the support of more than 20 leading hardware and software manufacturers.
The session will cover ACES adoption progress in on-set, visual effects, post-production, digital intermediate and archiving applications, its enabling of new workflows for High Dynamic Range (HDR) content, and new resources that support the growing ACES user community.
